Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé to Miss Preseason Tour of the United States

Kylian Mbappé, the star forward for Real Madrid, will be absent from the team’s preseason tour of the United States. Mbappé is currently on holiday after leading France to the semifinals of Euro 2024. Also missing from the tour are Jude Bellingham and Dani Carvajal, who are on holiday after representing England and Spain, respectively, at the Euro 2024 final.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has included some new faces in the squad for the preseason tour. Brazilian teenage forward Endrick, who recently joined Madrid from Palmeiras, has been included in the 26-man roster. Endrick, along with his Brazil teammates Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo Goes, will be joining the team in the coming days. In addition, Ancelotti has also included 12 youth players in the travelling squad.

Despite missing the preseason tour, Kylian Mbappé is expected to join the Real Madrid team right after the U.S. tour. It is anticipated that Mbappé will make his debut for Madrid against Atalanta in the European Super Cup on Aug. 14. The French forward recently joined the team as a free agent after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired.

Real Madrid’s preseason tour will kick off with a match against AC Milan at Soldier Field in Chicago on July 31. This will be followed by the highly anticipated Clasico against Barcelona on Aug. 3 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The tour will conclude with a match against Chelsea on Aug. 6 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

While Kylian Mbappé will be missed during Real Madrid’s preseason tour of the United States, fans can look forward to seeing new faces in the squad and anticipate Mbappé’s debut in the upcoming European Super Cup. The matches against AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea are sure to provide an exciting start to the season for Real Madrid and their supporters.
