Fulham Football Club has recently revealed their grand plans for the renovated Riverside Stand. Club chairman Shahid Khan promises a matchday experience that will surpass anything football fans have seen before. The renovation work on the stand began in 2019, and the lower tier was made accessible to the public in 2022. Now, the upper tier has been completed and is set to welcome supporters at the beginning of the 2024-25 season.
Khan expressed his vision for the New Riverside Stand, emphasizing the desire to create a destination that pays tribute to the club’s history and tradition at Craven Cottage while providing an unmatched experience, especially on matchdays. The stand will offer seven distinct matchday experiences to fans, including the innovative “Sky Deck” on the top three floors. This rooftop area boasts breathtaking views of the London skyline and the Thames, as well as unique food and drink options. Impressively, the imagery released by the club showcases a swimming pool on the “Sky Deck,” adding an element of luxury to the matchday experience.
Among the standout offerings at the Riverside Stand are two Michelin Star dining experiences known as “The Gourmet” and “The Brasserie.” “The Brasserie” offers guests dual perspectives of an open-air riverside terrace on one side and panoramic views of the pitch from the halfway line on the other. For those seeking a more immersive football experience, “The Dugout” provides fans with the opportunity to sit behind the coaching staff and witness the action up close. This unique vantage point is further enhanced by access to an audio-visual technology-enabled bar. While “The Dugout” is slated to open next season, the remaining Riverside experiences are scheduled for a December 2024 debut.
