Arsenal’s Preseason Squad Announcement for US Tour

Arsenal has officially released their 26-man squad for the upcoming preseason tour in the United States. The squad includes some key players such as captain Martin Ødegaard and Gabriel Jesus, who are set to be part of the traveling party. The tour kicks off in Los Angeles with a match against Bournemouth on July 24, followed by a highly anticipated clash with Manchester United on July 27 at the iconic SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The last stop on the tour will be in Philadelphia where Arsenal will face Liverpool on July 31.

One notable inclusion in the squad is Jurriën Timber, who missed a significant portion of the previous season due to injury. Despite recent international commitments at Euro 2024, Leandro Trossard, Jorginho, Jakub Kiwior, and Oleksandr Zinchenko will also be part of the tour. Additionally, Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Martinelli, and Kai Havertz are set to join the squad on July 25.

Unfortunately, some players will not be part of the tour due to their involvement in the latter stages of Euro 2024. Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, David Raya, and William Saliba have been granted an extended break. However, they will continue their preseason preparations with games against Bayer Leverkusen and Lyon at the Emirates Stadium in August. The team will then kick off their Premier League campaign on August 17 against Wolves.

The preseason tour in the United States presents Arsenal with an opportunity to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the upcoming season. It will also allow new signings and returning players to integrate with the squad and build chemistry on and off the field. The matches against top-quality opposition such as Manchester United and Liverpool will provide a good test for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Overall, Arsenal fans can look forward to an exciting tour and the chance to see their favorite players in action as they gear up for the challenges that lie ahead in the Premier League. The tour will not only be a showcase of talent but also a crucial part of the team’s preseason preparations.
